Scorno’s is hosting a bake sale on November 12 to benefit the National Transplant Assistance Fund (NTAF). The bake sale runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. That works out perfect for you to drop by Scorno’s for lunch, and you can pick up dessert while you’re there! The best part is that all proceeds go directly to the NTAF! I think that basically means you’re getting tax deductible baked goods (don’t quote me on that though).
If you have any questions or would like to donate, contact Lori Patton at (515) 244-5779. If you need help finding Scorno’s here is the contact info and driving directions.
You may remember my daughter Lindsay and her husband (Dave Morgan). Many of you kindly donated to his cause. Two years ago Dave had a Heart & Liver Transplant because of an illness called Cardiomyopathy. Unfortunately, Dave’s brother Juan has been diagnosed with this same illness and will need the same two transplants. We are having a bake sale to try and help Juan with his expenses. Dave is doing outstanding, and Dave & Lindsay both, with the help of our prayers and giving, will be by Juan’s side. Please join us for this event.
Thank you in advance.Lori Vacco Patton
