A delivery driver’s primary focus is delivering food to customers quickly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining a professional demeanor. Delivery drivers are also responsible for a variety of duties including: assisting with some cooking/light prep work, cleaning, and occasionally operating a cash register. Must be 18 years or older, have the state minimum vehicle insurance, a valid driver’s license, and a reliable form of transportation. Must maintain proper hygiene and abide by company dress code and policies.

Take customer’s orders, serve food and beverages, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments. Waiters and waitresses may perform additional duties, which may include escorting guests to tables, serving customers seated at counters, setting up and clearing tables, taking orders by phone, and operating a computer/cash register. They also check the identification of patrons to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol. Some light cleaning, prep work, and organization tasks required. Must be professional, polite, and reliable. Must be able to learn and describe food and beverage menu items proficiently. Must maintain proper hygiene and abide by company dress code and policies.

• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  
• Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
  
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  
• Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
• Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions. 
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
  
• Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
  
• Clean, stock, and restock workstations throughout shift and at end of shift.
  

Need to be well organized, motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time. Must maintain proper hygiene and abide by company dress code and policies.
